We took part in a musical evening in aid of Cost of Cancer. Also performing were pupils from West Park Primary and Porthcawl Comprehensive and Sounds Familiar Mixed Choir.
The evening raised over £1500 for the very worthy charity.
Radyr & Morganstown Festival Closing Concert
We were pleased to take part in the final concert of the Radyr & Morganstown festival 2022. The orchestra performed a variety of pieces for the audience, including Rhapsody in Blue, Selections from Miss Saigon and James Bond Themes.
The festival was a huge success, raising over £5000 for Headway Cardiff & South East Wales.
Platinum Jubilee Music & Flower Festival
The first Music & Flower Festival post-COVID was a special edition to mark the Platinum Jubilee.
The orchestra performed a variety of pieces, including a number with royal connections such as Jerusalem and Nimrod.
Halloween Concert
We held our first ever Halloween concert at the Hi Tide in October 2022.
We entertained a capacity crowd with renditions of spooky classics such as Danse Macabre and more contemporary pieces including Phantom of the Opera and Thriller.
Christmas Concert 2022
We were delighted to be joined once again by the Col Canto vocal ensemble for our Christmas Concert, which proved to be a magical way to kick-off the festive period.
Our charity raffle was in aid of the Porthcawl Foodbank and raised over £200.
