Porthcawl Community Orchestra were delighted to perform a concert Pomp And Rememberance on Friday 24 November.
The programme included a wide variety of styles, including Nimrod, Thunderbirds, Les Miserables and of course, Pomp and Circumstance!
We were joined by some very talented vocalists for the concert.
Mayor's Charity Ball 2017
Porthcawl Community Orchestra played in the Mayor Charity's Ball on 29 April 2017 at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl.
It was a James Bond Themed Evening; the Orchestra played the James Bond Theme, Nobody Does It Better, Live & Let Die, A View To A Kill, License To Kill, For Your Eyes Only & You Know My Name. The Orchestra were accompanied by the singer Kat Jones.
Music & Flower Festival 2017
The Orchestra played in the Music & Flower Festival on 17 June 2017 at All Saints Church, Porthcawl. The Orchestra played a variety of pieces including Star Wars, pieces by Vaughan Williams and selections by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
